Our Values

THE AKANKSHA CORE VALUES

In 2016, Akanksha embarked on a journey to understand the key knowledge, skills and character values our children needed to be successful in the 21st century. From this emerged our very own ‘Be the Change’ wave – a network-wide philosophy that drives each and every Akanksha member to live and lead by example.

Much like the wave which is a powerful symbol of CHANGE, we at Akanksha are dedicated to continuous & constant adaptation – finding ways to innovate even in the most difficult of times. By mobilising the power of our 26 schools, we hope to initiate positive change – both within our network and beyond.

‘Be the Change’ is the perfect representation of Akanksha’s everlasting resilience.

We COLLABORATE

We unite as a team to achieve our vision, support each other in securing our goals and find joy in each other’s success.

We NEVER GIVE UP

We are big believers in learning and continue to stay strong and resilient till we reach the very end.

We HAVE BELIEF

Every Akanksha member lives and breathes the organisation’s mission and believes in our ability to achieve challenging goals that go beyond expectation.

We GIVE RESPECT

At Akanksha, we embrace the diversity all around us and treat each other with dignity.

We ACT WITH INTEGRITY

Our team takes ownership of their actions and we take pride in holding ourselves accountable to our set commitments.

We EXCEL & ENJOY

We raise the bar and push ourselves to go the extra mile as a team, all the while ensuring that we enjoy and celebrate our wins along the way. We believe it is important to help each other succeed.
Our values make up for the cohesive culture of our organisation, they guide us as to how we should work together and ensure that we fulfil our commitment towards providing quality education to all children in whichever context we are in. Our values are at the core of our ecosystem and they are the fabric with which we weave and nurture relations with all our stakeholders- be it our staff members, our parents and communities and our supporters.
