For more than three decades, Akanksha Education Fund (AEF) has proudly supported The Akanksha Foundation’s (TAF) 60 centers, and later its 27 public-private partnership schools across Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur through The School Project. By nurturing a long-term partnership with these schools, students, and communities, this model seeks to maximize children’s potential and empower teachers and school leaders. Our work has changed the lives of over 20,000 students. 

AEF helps fund programs that promote academic excellence, holistic education, leadership development, and overall student wellness and ensures that children from underserved communities receive a high-quality, transformative education.

Our work in TAF schools extends to supporting programs and initiatives that benefit students, educators, and parents in the communities. These programs include:
